Selection Process:
a) Suitable candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience in the relevant field and may be invited to participate in the selection process. This selection process may include a written examination and/or a personal interview. Through this selection process, various aspects of the candidates’ knowledge, skills, experience, aptitude, and physical fitness will be assessed.
b) If the number of candidates is exceptionally high, an appropriate method—such as a written examination—may be employed.
c) The selection process will be conducted by NMRC exclusively through offline or physical modes.
d) If candidates from distant locations (outstation candidates) are required to appear in person to participate in the selection process, they must make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. NMRC will not provide any facilities regarding travel or accommodation.
e) The Management reserves the right to invite—or decline to invite—any or all applicants to the selection process in response to this notification. Furthermore, the Management reserves the right to cancel or postpone the entire selection process, or any stage thereof, for any administrative reason.
In the event that the interview/selection process is postponed one or more times, or if the position is cancelled by NMRC, no requests from candidates for the reimbursement of travel fares, cancellation fees, or any other expenses of any kind will be entertained by NMRC.
f) The minimum ‘post-qualification experience’ stipulated for each position must be experience acquired exclusively within the government sector (as specified); experience gained in private sector organizations will not be considered when calculating this minimum experience requirement.
g) Experience acquired while serving as a ‘Management Trainee,’ ‘Graduate Engineer Trainee,’ or ‘Apprentice’ will not be included in the calculation of the overall ‘post-qualification experience.’
h) The mandatory qualification and experience criteria specified in this notification constitute merely the minimum standards; Fulfilling the terms and conditions outlined in the notification does not automatically entitle a candidate to participate in the personal interview or written examination.
If the number of applications received is excessive, it may not be practically feasible or convenient for the NMRC to conduct personal interviews and/or written examinations for all applicants. Under such circumstances, the NMRC may limit the number of applicants called for personal interviews or written examinations to a reasonable limit, based on qualifications and experience superior to the minimum criteria prescribed in the advertisement.
Therefore, applicants should provide detailed particulars of all their acquired qualifications and experience—along with relevant documentary evidence—in the designated section of the application form.
i) When determining the equivalence of the required pay scale with the pay scales of other government organizations, the minimum basic pay of the NMRC pay scale shall be compared with the minimum basic pay of the corresponding organization’s pay scale.
In this context, if the minimum basic pay of the compared corresponding cadre’s pay scale is equal to or higher than the minimum basic pay of the specific NMRC pay scale for which the recruitment process is underway, the candidate shall be deemed to be ‘working in an equivalent pay scale.’
Continuing this premise, if the minimum basic pay of the compared corresponding cadre’s pay scale is lower than the minimum basic pay of the specific NMRC pay scale for which the recruitment process is underway—regardless of what the maximum basic pay of that corresponding pay scale may be—the candidate shall be deemed to be ‘working in a lower pay scale’ (solely for the purpose of determining eligibility during the application scrutiny process).
j) Candidates claiming equivalence of their qualifications must submit a copy of the equivalence certificate. In the absence of such an equivalence certificate, the application will not be considered eligible.
k) No correspondence or communication regarding any inquiries will be entertained from candidates who have not been shortlisted for the interview.
l) All updates and notifications regarding the advertised posts will be published exclusively on the NMRC website, i.e., www.nmrcnoida.com. Candidates are requested to visit the said website regularly. Furthermore, all communications regarding the recruitment process will be conducted solely through the email addresses provided by the candidates at the time of application.
m) It is not merely desirable for an applicant to possess knowledge and work experience in the relevant field; they must also be physically and medically fit. Upon selection, candidates may be required to undergo a medical examination in accordance with the Corporation’s policies. Candidates must fulfill the medical standards prescribed by NMRC for the various posts (which are available at www.nmrcnoida.com).
The cost of the candidate’s initial medical examination will be borne by NMRC. However, if a candidate requests an extension of the joining deadline or a re-examination—subject to prevailing rules—and if a second medical examination or re-examination becomes necessary, all expenses associated with such examination must be borne by the candidate themselves.
n) Candidates currently employed on a regular basis within the aforementioned IDA/CDA pay scales may apply through any one of the following modes: Deputation, Immediate Absorption, or Direct Recruitment. Candidates currently employed on a contractual basis within the aforementioned IDA/CDA pay scales will be considered eligible to apply solely through the ‘Direct Recruitment’ mode.
o) Candidates currently employed in the private sector, or those employed in the government sector on a contractual basis with a fixed and consolidated pay, will not be considered eligible to apply for the aforementioned posts.
p) Candidates must specifically indicate or tick the preferred mode of application—i.e., Deputation, Immediate Absorption, or Direct Recruitment—in the designated section of their application form. A candidate shall be permitted to choose only one mode. Furthermore, no request to change the mode of application will be entertained at any stage of the recruitment process following the submission of the application, nor at any subsequent time.
q) Candidates applying via ‘Immediate Absorption’ or ‘Deputation’ must forward their applications through proper channels or submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) on or before the day of the written examination and/or personal interview; otherwise, the candidate will not be permitted to participate in the interview, and no request from the candidate will be entertained by NMRC.
If a candidate wishes to seek appointment through ‘Direct Recruitment,’ NMRC will not insist upon the submission of an NOC. However, the candidate must submit a written undertaking along with the application stating that, if selected, they will obtain a proper ‘Relieving Certificate’ from their current employer at the time of joining and submit it to NMRC.

r) In contrast to ‘Deputation’ and ‘Immediate Absorption,’ candidates must clearly note that—if they wish to seek appointment through ‘Direct Recruitment’—they will not be entitled to ‘Pay Protection’ or any benefits derived from their previous employment (such as Gratuity, Leave Encashment/Transfer, Housing Allowance, etc.). In this instance—regardless of whether the candidate submits an NOC at any stage of the recruitment process or not—their tenure of service shall commence from the ‘Initial Basic Pay’ of the specific pay scale for which they have been selected.
s) In the cases of ‘Direct Recruitment’ and ‘Immediate Absorption,’ upon selection, candidates must undergo a physical or medical examination in accordance with the Corporation’s policies.
t) In the case of ‘Deputation,’ the initial period of deputation shall be for three years; which may be further extended subsequently, subject to the requirements of the NMRC and applicable regulations.
u) The application form must be complete in all respects and must be accompanied by copies of the NOC, D&AR (Discipline and Appeal Rules), Vigilance Clearance, and the APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Report) for the preceding four years.
This complete application form must reach the NMRC office through proper channels on or before the stipulated closing date. If it is not possible to submit the NOC and Vigilance Clearance at the time of application, candidates must attach a written undertaking stating that they will submit the requisite NOC and Vigilance Clearance at the time of the written examination or interview.
v) Candidates’ documents will be verified prior to their interview. To ensure the smooth completion of the document verification process, candidates are required to bring their original certificates with them; otherwise, the concerned candidate will not be permitted to participate in the interview.
w) Please note that only one post will be filled—that is, either at the SSO level or at the SO level. Candidates must clearly tick the relevant post alongside it in their application form, in accordance with the qualifications specified in this advertisement.
