General Terms and Conditions
i. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
ii. The age, educational qualifications, and experience mentioned above shall be calculated as of April 7, 2026.
iii. The prescribed maximum age limit is relaxable in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India; specifically, by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) and by 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC). In the case of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), an additional age relaxation of 10 years may be granted over and above the age relaxation admissible to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). This age relaxation shall be applicable only to candidates with a minimum disability of 40% or more.
iv. For candidates with disabilities (PwD), the maximum age limit may be relaxed by an additional 10 years. This relaxation shall be considered over and above the age relaxation admissible to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). This age relaxation shall be applicable only to candidates with a minimum disability of 40% or more.
v. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) must submit their Caste Certificate. This certificate must be in the prescribed format applicable for appointments to posts under the Government of India.
vi. Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC)** must submit an ‘Other Backward Classes’ (‘Non-Creamy Layer’*) Certificate (this certificate must be in the prescribed format applicable for appointments to posts under the Government of India). Additionally, OBC candidates are required to submit a Self-Undertaking, affirming that they belong to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category. This undertaking must be filled out, signed, and submitted in accordance with the prescribed format provided along with the application form. [Note:
a. **OBC Candidates:** Only candidates belonging to those communities that have been recognized by the Government of India as ‘Backward Classes’ for the purpose of reservation in government employment—in accordance with the orders outlined in Office Memorandum No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT) of the Department of Personnel and Training, dated 08.09.1993—shall be considered as OBC candidates.
b. *Non-Creamy Layer:* As per the guidelines laid down in DOPT Office Memorandum No. 36033/1/2013-Estt., the total annual income of the candidate’s parents for the last three consecutive years must not exceed ₹8 Lakhs. [(Res) Dated:

vii. PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates seeking appointment to posts under the Government of India must submit a PwD certificate in the prescribed format applicable for such appointments.
viii. Candidates seeking reservation under the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category must submit an Income and Asset Certificate in the prescribed format applicable for the ‘Economically Weaker Sections’.
ix. Candidates must ensure that, as of the specific date mentioned in the advertisement, they fulfill all the eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions, and that all information provided by them is entirely accurate. If, at any stage of the recruitment process, it is detected that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility conditions and/or has furnished incorrect/false information, or has suppressed any material information/facts, their candidature shall be deemed automatically cancelled. Even after appointment, if any of the aforementioned discrepancies are detected, their services may be terminated without any prior notice.
x. Merely fulfilling the terms and conditions stipulated in the advertisement does not automatically entitle candidates to appointment.
xi. The Authority (Management) reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates and/or to raise the minimum qualifying percentage based on the number of applications received.
xii. The Authority also reserves the right to cancel this advertisement and/or the entire selection process at its sole discretion.
xiii. The Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies based on business requirements and the availability of eligible candidates.
xiv. All information regarding assessments (at various stages), the issuance of provisional/final appointment letters, etc., will be communicated exclusively via email. The list of candidates shortlisted/selected for final appointment will be published on the Company’s website. BEML shall not be held liable in any manner whatsoever if an email or any related communication is lost or fails to reach the recipient due to an incorrect or invalid email ID provided in the online application. The email ID and mobile number provided in the online application must remain active and valid for a period of at least one year.
xv. The Authority reserves the right to fill the advertised positions in a phased manner, based on requirements.
xvi. Only those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria specified herein—such as educational qualification, experience, age, and category/PwD status (where applicable)—should apply.
xvii. Eligible and interested candidates belonging to the GEN / EWS / OBC categories (this requirement does not apply to SC/ST/PwD candidates) applying for the aforementioned positions are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- by clicking on the “Pay Application Fee Online” link located at the end of the application form.
xviii. No requests for changes to the Category, address, e-mail, mobile number, examination center location, or other details declared in the online application will be entertained.
xix. Any attempt to influence or lobby officials involved in the recruitment or selection process will result in the immediate cancellation of the concerned candidate’s candidature.
xx. Depending on the number of candidates, you may be required to stay for an additional day (at your own expense) to complete the evaluation process (applicable only to 4-year tenure positions).

Selection Procedure
i. Candidates applying for the one-year tenure positions will be selected solely based on the aggregate marks obtained across all semesters of their qualifying degree (8 semesters for 4-year Engineering graduates, and 6 semesters for Diploma + 3-year graduates). Candidates applying for the four-year tenure positions will be selected based on the marks obtained in a written examination conducted by BEML.
ii. The selection process for the four-year tenure positions will consist of a one-hour written examination. This written examination will comprise 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) designed to assess the candidates’ technical proficiency. Each question will carry 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking.
iii. The minimum qualifying score to pass the written examination shall be 45%; however, this requirement will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories. Nevertheless, the Authority (Management) reserves the right to limit the number of shortlisted candidates.
iv. The second stage of the selection process for JE (Junior Engineer) candidates applying for the four-year tenure positions will involve the verification of documents of the shortlisted candidates. All relevant and necessary documents will be thoroughly scrutinized during the verification stage in accordance with the criteria specified in the advertisement; only those candidates whose documents are found to be in conformity with the terms and conditions of the advertisement will be considered for further evaluation.
v. Final selection will be made based on the results of the written examination and the fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria.
Application / Registration Procedure
i. Candidates must register ‘online’ only after thoroughly reading the prescribed guidelines and ensuring the accuracy of the information entered into the portal/form (this is mandatory).
ii. Candidates may access the online registration form by visiting our ‘Career Page’; the website is: www.bemlindia.in (under Advertisement No. KP/S/03/2026). The online registration portal will remain open until 18:00 hours on April 7, 2026.
iii. For online registration, it is mandatory for the candidate to possess a valid email address and mobile number. These contact details will be utilized for all subsequent communications from BEML Limited. BEML will not entertain any requests for changes to the email address or mobile number during the recruitment process.
iv. The ‘Registration Number’ generated during the registration process may be noted down for ease of reference in all future communications.
v. While filling out the online registration form, in the ‘Experience’ section, please list your most recent experience first, followed by your previous experiences in chronological order. All of the candidate’s experiences should be duly recorded in this section. In the designated space for experience details, you must provide a brief and clear description (pen-picture) of your experience that is relevant to the position for which you are applying.
vi. It is mandatory to carry a copy of the registration form when appearing for the ‘Walk-in Recruitment’ event.
Documents to be Carried for Verification and Written Examination
i. All candidates applying for the advertised posts must appear in person for document verification (and, where applicable, for the written examination).
ii. On the aforementioned dates, candidates must carry to the designated center the original copies of the following certificates (where applicable), along with their self-attested photocopies:
